The ‘Lingo’ – A Continuing Success Story!

Congratulations to our budding entrepreneurs from Year 11, ’ THE LINGO’ whoattended the North Wales Young Enterprise Final in Venue Theatre, Llandudno on Monday. Having already prepared and submitted their annual business report, they also had to give a five minute presentation to a group of national business men and women as well as presenting their product on their trade stand and being questioned thoroughly on their business activities during the past nine months. Over twenty companies competed for the opportunity to represent North Wales in the All-Wales Final in Cardiff on 23 that winning the Best Overall Company Award. They will now represent North East Wales in Cardiff, and are already planning further improvements to their overall presentation. This success is well deserved for a team of pupils who have dedicated so much of their free time to this particular business venture. All this hard work is being carried out alongside their preparation for important GCSE examinations. We wish every success to Tom Brown, Jake Daniel, Luke O’Brien, Hannah Owen, Toby White and Ciara Williams their Young Enterprise journey.
