RETREAT WORK AT SRG - "A still time in a turning world"

Retreat work is central to what we aim to achieve as a Roman Catholic Christian School. It has been stated that retreats provide ‘a still time in a turning world’.

Emmaus Days

During one day and residential retreats the opportunity is given for individuals to take a, 'time out' to reflect, in a very special way, upon the relationships that they have with each other and with God.

In Year 9 pupils attend The Franciscan Friary in Pantasaph for a one-day retreats on specific theme. These days are called 'Emmaus Days' as we remember the story of Jesus walking with two of his disciples on The Road To Emmaus. We are reminded that Jesus walks with us on every step of our journey.

Savio House Retreat

Years 10 and 11 have the opportunity to attend a three-day residential retreat at Savio House in Macclesfield.
